Help, readynas won`t startup anymore, Led 1 and 3 are on, power led is off
Hello all, A scream for help from the Netherlands. This afternoon I heard in my basement another sound then the sound I usually hear. It was the fan of my nas which was at full speed. Only LED 1 and 3 are on, no power led. I already found the LED legend and it seems i have a bootloader issue. A simple restart didn`t do anything. I`ve already tried the RAIDiator 4.1 USB recovery tool, that isn`t working, it is not reading the usb stick at all (i tried a few ones, also older usb sticks) It sounds maybe a little crazy but if i buy a new one (or second hand) same model, and set the raid settings the same (1 have 4 WD-red 1TB in X-RAID2 setting) Can i still access the data on the disks? The date on the disks is very valuable, it contains a lot of photos from my dad, he unfortunately died 11th of september last year at age 68....... So please help and advise. Thanks ! Hello, I've discovered PlexPy (https://github.com/drzoidberg33/plexpy) to follow the usage of my Plex Server, I managed to install it following the instructions on the GitHub installation page, but I can't make it to start automatically on Startup with my ReadyNAS. ReadyNAS Pro 6 Corrupt Root - Need Help
I am new to ReadyNAS, I have never owned one and scouting through the Forums I've not found my problem in any detail to assist me start using the ReadyNAS. I have just purchased off eBay a ReadyNAS Pro 6 with no disks or documentation. I have worked out I need RAIDar, I have my 6 Disks (3TB) in the ReadyNAS (there on the HCL). When I turn it on, in RAIDar it says Corrupt Root. It shows the model, IP address and all drives greyed out. Looking through the forum I understand that I need to do something for the ReadyNAS to see the drives. I need to do something to be able to setup the disks in a RAID for RAIDar to see the ReadyNAS completely. Also Admin page button on RAIDar says the page is not accessible. The Browse Button opens my Documents... Could someone tell me how I get the disks to be seen by the ReadyNAS and how to setup the RAID, RAID 6 is the advise I had to setup. There has to a process to make the disks work with teh RaedyNAS Can you keep it simple, I'm not that techno...? Thank youSolved5.9KViews0likes6Comments
