ReadyNas 104 PSU problems, Volume is Dead now
Suspecting a dodgy power supply caused this mess: 12 May 2025 03:23:48 Volume: Volume data health changed from Dead to Inactive. 12 May 2025 01:00:24 Volume: Volume data is Dead. 12 May 2025 00:05:58 Backup: Error backup job job_003: Source cannot be mounted on the system. 12 May 2025 00:05:11 Backup: Error backup job job_002: Source path cannot be accessed. 11 May 2025 22:04:43 Disk: Disk in channel 1 (Internal) changed state from RESYNC to ONLINE. 11 May 2025 22:03:07 Disk: Disk Model:ST4000VN008-2DR166 Serial:ZDH6FF7A was removed from Channel 4 of the head unit. 11 May 2025 22:03:03 Disk: Disk Model:ST4000VN008-2DR166 Serial:ZGY4MN5N was removed from Channel 1 of the head unit. 11 May 2025 22:03:01 Disk: Disk Model:ST4000VN008-2DR166 Serial:ZDH6FF7A was added to Channel 4 of the head unit. 11 May 2025 22:02:58 Volume: Volume data health changed from Redundant to Dead. 11 May 2025 22:02:57 Disk: Disk Model:ST4000VN008-2DR166 Serial:ZGY4MN5N was added to Channel 1 of the head unit. Checked the Disks with a SEagate utility and they are all fine. After shutdown, the PSU was at 11v with no load and below 9v at power up, obviously the disks would / could not spin up. The NAS boots up and disk spin after replacing the PSU. Is there any chance of recovering the Volume?
