How to turn off the LED in the access point WAC505 and WAC510? I am using these access points in our hotel and the blinking LED lights are annoying if the access points are installed in the hotel rooms. The manual of WAC505 explains how to switch them off, claiming that there is an "LED Control" button on the dashboard. Unfortunately, when I open my web browser, log into the dashboard of the access point and then look for Management > Configuration > System > Advanced > LED Control there is no LED Control. Any help is very much appreciated.152Views0likes3CommentsWAC-505 nearby devices (Notebooks purchased new this year) are losing internet access.
I was checking the connection logs and noticed despite being set to use both 2.4 & 5Ghz all devices connect to this AP only on 2.4 Ghz, two of them are less than 2 metres away from the AP. There are numerous other AP's on the network and their connection history is more a mix of both 2.4 & 5 Ghz as expected. I have tried rebooting the AP (same behavior after reboot), and it gets regular firmware updates automatically.939Views0likes4CommentsOutdated info in Insight Management App
Hi There, I have a strange issue. I configured 2 WAC505 APs for my neighbour and installed the Insight App on his smartphone. Today I updated both APs from a very old firmware 4.x.y to the latest 8.x.y using the Insight App. When I login to the APs using the web interface of the AP, they are running the latest firmware. When I look in the Insight App a firmware update is available and the current firmware is still the old one. I can reboot the APs form the Insight App and I am able to connect to the Wifi network. How can I resolve this issue?1.8KViews0likes1Comment
