The tech guy said I can find the pin code/password online for my router. WNDR3800 N600 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit Router - premium edition Netgear 25 I'm pretty tech ignorant. So please bare with me and HELP! Does anyone know where a very tech illiterate person can find this info. My printer stopped connecting to my computer when I switched to a faster network that the Comcast guy set up and it wouldn't even hook up to the old one without this password that I don't know. Thanks!SolvedRouter won't connect to powerline network
Hi I am new here and pretty dumb so be kind to me. I have an existing Netgear AV500 (XAVB5101-100AU) Powerline network which has been operating very well for about 2 years it was connected to a Belkin N1 Modem/Router... The Belkin failed and I got out a Dual Band Netgear N600 Modem Router (DGN3700v2). which I had lying around... Set up Internet and WiFi which worked fine with my laptop, Phone and Tablet BUT will NOT connect to the Powerline network... All the LEDs on the Powerline and M Router are normal ... You won't beleive it but there is no clue in either the Router or Powerline Manuals about connecting together .. I thought (and I could be completely wrong) that Network devices just plugged into each other using network cables and off you go ..... Very strange .. Please help .. From time to time, my Router's Log is full of entries like: DoS Attack: Ascend Kill] from source: 17.253.34.125, port 123, Monday, December 18,2017 23:50:43 [DoS Attack: Ascend Kill] from source: 17.253.34.253, port 123, Monday, December 18,2017 23:50:43 [DoS Attack: Ascend Kill] from source: 17.253.54.125, port 123, Monday, December 18,2017 23:50:42 [DoS Attack: Ascend Kill] from source: 52.178.161.41, port 123, Monday, December 18,2017 23:34:36 ...etc. After periods with filled Logs like above, there are some days without any of these Log entries. I don't use WiFi from my Router. I use it with a FRITZ!Box connected via LAN to my Router. Router's input (Internet) is coming from a separate Modem. Up to now, I didn't find any Community posts with '[DoS Attack: Ascend Kill]' or at least similar Log messages but with my Router's Model WNDR3800. So I've opened here this new entry with following questions: Is this message from a successfull DoS block of my Router? If not, what can I do on my Router's configuration to block these DoS Attacks successfully? Many thanks in advance for any help, info or ideas!Solvedhow to setup WNDR3800 router as a bridge
I have a FIOS router, with an RJ-45 cable/jack to the room where I want to create a new wifi network for that part of the house. I got it to work, but the crucial step seemed to be when the Netgear changed its IP to 10.0.0.1. I had full internet access....then I had to move some furniture, which meant the router briefly lost power. Now, I have the wifi network, but no internet connectivity (although the Internet light is green, and the router config page says Good for Internet). What is the reliable way to configure the NDR3800 into this sort of bridge mode?Solved
