We've moved to using Microsoft EDGE browser as standard (tired of using 3 browsers one for each "thing" it does best. Trying to muscle through this transition. This should be an "easy find" in the community forums, but there's only one post on Edge, and the most recent I could find on browswer certificates was 2009 and 2012... ;-/ On some Windows 10 environments (new systems, or clean installs, no garbage build-up in registry...) we are getting certificate errors. "There’s a problem with this website’s security certificate" and presented with the usual warning not to procede. What's the shortest way to add the ReadyNAS system's certificate to be seen by the Microsoft EDGE browser as a "safe" website?Solved17KViews0likes4CommentsReadyNas Pro 4 website and PHP(enablerootssh)
Hello everyone, I am new here. I have a ReadNas Pro 4 X-Raid2 and I am trying to setup a website with PHP. I followed a couple of tutorials and I managed to make a website folder and actually connect to the website through my IP address. I have a couple of issues however... First PHP doesn't work. I bought PHP5 from RNXtras.com. I installed it but it still doesn't work (I put a PHP website in the server folder which I created and the page is just blank). I installed EnableRootSSH because I saw posts that I need it to install PHP properly but I don't know how to use it and I can't find any documentation that explains how to SSH into your server and install PHP from there. I am not 100% sure it is even installed because it doesn't show in installed add-ons, but the server said installation successful. How do I SSH into the server and install PHP? I don't have a "etc" folder as well. Second when I tried to see a HTML website because HTML works, it showed that the certificate is not setup properly and in order to see the website I had to exclude the certificate, so how do I write the certificate correctly? Thanks in advance.2.9KViews0likes6CommentsRN102 Wordpress DNS record query
Hey everyone, I have installed wordpress , and created a basic site which I want to point a domain name record to. Few questions: The site is located locally at: https://192.168.1.3/apps/wordpress/ How would I change this to a HTTP address so I can open port 80 on my router to point a domain name to port 80 of my WAN IP? When I type http://192.168.1.3:80 into my address bar it redirects me to: https://192.168.1.3/admin/ - the readynas's management page , how do I specify that port 80 redircts to the wordpress subfolder? Is it possible to backup the database's content , as unlike some other addons there is no share created for wordpress? Any help would be greatly appreciated Regards, PaulDirect web traffic through ports 80 and 443 to a specific server through the FVS336G
Router acted up and was factory reset. I have a web server located in our network. When accessing the server's ip from a browser, I can see the website locally. When trying to access the web address from the outside, I get a cert error and then the netgear login page. What settings do I need to do to get traffic coming in on port 80 and 443 to this specific server's IP address?5.6KViews0likes2Comments
