Wifi Connection
3 TopicsAC1750 Model C6300 WiFi connection
Just purchased the C6300 cable modem router and pretty much any time I try to connect a new device on WiFi, the WiFi connection drops for all connected devices and the modem has to be rebooted. After rebooting, I can connect the new device and everything reconnects fine. If I try to add another device after an hour or so, the same problem occurs. I reboot the modem and I can connect again. This has happened at least 5 times in 2 days, so it isn't a coincidence. I am a Comcast customer and when this happens, the internet connection is not lost (so my ethernet connected devices continue to work). It is a router issue. I'm on firmware version 2.01.14. I know there are a lot of reported similar issues, but I haven't seen a solution yet. Hoping someone out there can help. Thanks.2.5KViews0likes8CommentsSharp Aquos TV doesn't find Netgear wifi router
The new Nighthawk X8 AC5300 wifi router is installed and all our devices connect successfully, with the exception of our Sharp Aquos TV. The TV doesn't find the wifi router - our home wifi network isn't listed as an available selection. How do I get our new wifi router network to be identified as an available choice? The TV is a Sharp Aquos model LC70SQ15U. Thanks!Solved18KViews0likes5Comments
