1 TopicWN3000RPv3 not seeing router
Hi I set up four WN3000RPv3 extenders in access point mode connecting back to a business router via a Netgear switch. They worked find for a couple of months then all stopped. The lights on the switch show there's activity. When I connect to the wireless service on the access points it says there's no connection to the router. The firmware version is V1.0.2.24. Is there anything new that could have caused them to stop being able to talk to the router ? What can I check next being that the switch is seeing activity but the access points all claim there's no connection to the router ? It sounds like they're perhaps not able to get a DHCP address. Using static or reserved addresses wasn't an option in this situation yet although I'm thinking that might be better. There's little or no link activity on the access point port lights despite the router at the other end flickering away happily. The cables are around 50m long, so within CAT5 spec. Kind regards Andy3.4KViews0likes4Comments
