4 TopicsOrbi satellite will not show connected devices
When I connect to my orbi satellite via 192.168.1.5, I get the normal home screen. When I click on connected devices, I get the "please wait a moment screen" and the devices never show. This started after I had renamed a lot of devices on the main router attached devices screen. I was renaming things like kindle-08192B to kitchen-echo. I was doing so that I could easily tell which devices were connecting to my satellite. I have no idea if this had anything thing to do with my satellite connected devices screen locking up but the behavour started around the same time. I've tried restarting both the router and satellite but this hasn't helped. I hate to do a factory reset because my system is running great right now and it seems silly to restart everything just because I can't see which devices are connected to the satellite. Anyone have any ideas?SolvedList of connected devices doesn't appear anymore !!
Hi, i have installed my RBK50 (Base + Satellite) in AP mode (Access Point mode). The configuration went well and was pretty easy. I have also upgraded the firmware without any problem (curently v 2.1.2.18). The connected devices (dispositifs connectés) were listed correctly with their respective thumbnail images and so on. Now they do not appear anymore ! Why ? this is very helpful when you want to control who's connected. The list is simply empty ! Can someone from the NetGear support tell me why ? RegardsGenie Network Map: In App (multiple Android) vs. Genie App on Windows and macO vs. Connected Devices
DUT: Genie 3.2.12 on Android 7.1.1 (Nexus 9), and on Android 7.1.2 (Nexus 6P); Genie Version 2.4.38 on Windows, and R9000 1.2.0.16 Can't get rid of the impression that something basic is basically broken with the handling of Attached Devices on the Nighthawk Router Genie UI, the Network Map. Not two show the same number and the same devices. Manual refresh in the same second, closing and re-open App, ... does not help. I don't see all my connected devices, and the attached devices page seems to stop at 36. Is this the way it always works? Also in the forums people talk about lowering the 2.4ghz power, but I can not find how to do that. Is that not an option anymore? I do run in AP mode.
