Initially installed R6400 router. Router installed on second floor of home. Son's bedroom on first floor received poor signal on his desktop that he uses for video gaming. Purchased and installed AC1200 Wifi extender. Since, installing the extender, watching YouTube videos, through my Samsung TV, buffer often and when playing is choppy. I'm assuming my son's video gaming is hogging the broadband width but I'm not certain. Is there a way to monitor and limit broadband width to a specific device? Hello! Does anyone know why I can't block one of the devices on my Netgear Genie network map? All the other connected devices have the option to block. I have access control turned on. But one device just gives me the details and no option to block it and I don't recognize the device. Thank You, wxman3197.2KViews0likes3CommentsOrbi Parental control issue
Hi, I am trying to apply a device specific filter level to High (router default is Moderate) but when I apply he filter via Netgear Genie it doesn't block anything on that device? I have also tried to apply the high filter via a bypass account (set to high) but the result it the same. The desktop of is hardwired to the RBR50 router with firmware v1.8.0.6Unable to delete snapshots
I have 1.24Tb of data on my NAS102 but I have been getting messages that I cannot do a Windows Backup due to insufficient space. Looking into it I find there is over 1.98Tb of Snapshots and only 298.11Gb of free space. The NAS102 has 6.5.0 Firmware and when I went online it told me to go to the "Shares" option and then click on the "Snapshot" button that is next to the "New Share" button. The only problem is that there is NO "Snapshot" button on the "Shares" page. Perhaps you can advise me how to control the frequency of snapshots and how to actually delete snapshots when there does not appear to be any way to access them. Thank you from a very frustrated netgear user. I am using Win 10 Pro 64bit, TalkTalk is my ISP and I have 56+Mb/s downstream and 18+Mb/s upstream connection speed.Solved7.4KViews0likes5Comments
