1 TopicChange Genie Login Architecture on desktop version
NETGEARGenie logs in automatically. However, if parental controls are set up and being used on a home network or the computer, the controls are essentially open for anyone to shut off, because the application automatically logs in. I recommend adding architecture for loggin in to Genie on the desktop computer version or else adding a means to require a username and password before changes to the Parental Controls can be made. Unfortunately, the only alternative is to only maintain the moile app for controling the parental controls and then each time we need to utilize the Genie controls or functionality in the desktop version we must reinstall the program, make the changes or troubleshoot the issue and then delete it again. Obviously this is not ideal nor user friendly. Thank you for your consideration in this matter.11KViews0likes0Comments
