3 TopicsSporadic and Disappointing Orbi - I was better off with single Asus Router
I have the Orbi RBR40 w/ 3 RBS20 Sats. I am brand new to Orbi and keep loosing my signal, its "suppose" to cover 8,000 square feet... I am nothing close to this, but wanted to ensure a strong signal throught my yard (automated pool equipment). I am also using an Arris Docsis 3.1 SURFboard SB8200. Anyone have tips on settings i may have or have not enabled or disabled that would improve performance. It works great sometimes, strong signals over 100mb download. Other times unresponsive and requires completed power cycle to come back online. Of course i bought at Best Buy and am past my return date. Firmware up to date - V2.1.2.18 Thanks in advance communitySolvedYour security token is expired. Please click the menu to re-enter the page.
On a macbook, for the last year or so I very frequently can't change settings in the router because I get the error: Your security token is expired. Please click the menu to re-enter the page. This happens form Safari, Firefox, and Chrome. It happens in normal and in private modes. It happens even after logging out and back in. It happens even after reboots. On rare occasions I'll be able to do something like change the dns servers in dhcp or reboot the router using the UI. For the most part I can't. Im tired of it... how do I get around this issue?3.2KViews0likes1Commentmigrating from a Pro6 (OS4) to a 516 (OS6)
Hi, I have a problem, I have a client with a venerable ReadyNAS Pro6 in situ and wants it replaced. I went with a ReadyNAS 516 hoping the migration between the two would be realitively simple (hey ! both readyNAS and surely clients are expected to migrate to newer models - right ?) The system has many shares configured (around 45) The system has many users configured (around 40) The system groups users into 6 groups Authentication is by username and password so .... we buy a 516, do a confguration export from the Pro6 (running OS4) and attempt to import it into the 516 (running OS6) it doesn't like this - basically loses most accounts !!!! trying to restore the share structure is even worse ! Is there a way to migrate share structures, permissions/settings and user/group data between OS4 and OS6 without having to burn a large amount of time manually re-entering everything ? Thanks in Advance, Mark3.9KViews0likes16Comments
