Just created new user and a folder in the home directory wasnt created (Ralph). I tried deleting them and creating again but still not showing. Tried restarting but no joy. I see posts saying that the new user has to access via SMB, however when i typoe the NAS address and \home\ralph it just says cannot find. If i remove the ralph then it finds the home folder and admin/ftpuser folders ok. ANy ideas637Views0likes1CommentSync Home Folder in ReadyCloud Desktop App
I have a ReadyNAS 202 running OS 6.5.1 and am using the ReadyCloud Desktop Client version 1.3 for OS X (Mac). I have created a folder in my private Home Directory that I would like to sync to my Mac but when I look at the Desktop Client, I do not see the Home folder and obvisously, not the subfolders in the Home folder. If I log in to ReadyCloud via the Web I see the Home folder and the subfolders in it. The ID I am using is the Administrator ID I created when I set up the ReadyNAS. I'm thinking there has to be a way to see the Home Folder in the ReadyNAS Client. Am I missing something? Thanks, David5.1KViews0likes13CommentsReadyCloud App Won't Connect to Home Folder
Due to a HDD issue, I had to do a factory reset on my RN202 (OS 6.5) today and rebuilt the users and shares. Everything is back the way it was. I have already migrated my old ReadyCloud account to the MyNetgear SSI account. I have signed in to the ReadyCloud app on my iPhone and I can see all of the shares, including my prive Home folder. I can access all of the shares EXCEPT my Home share. When I click on the Home folder I get an eror mesage that says ERROR The objec t was not found. (see the attached screen shot). I have signed out and back in several time, reinstalled the ReadyCloud app with no success. If I sign in to ReadyCloud on the desktop, I can access the Home folder and the subfolder I created in it. I can also access the Home folder as the admin. Any thoughts on how to correct this would be appreciated. Regards, David3.4KViews0likes5CommentsCannot change file permission on homes
Having a Netgear ReadyNAS Duo v1, in home folder I copied some file, permissions are (seen in FileZilla): fle(0755)(this is what I cannot delete, cannot change permissions) flcdmp3(0755) (this is what I can manage) I would like to delete all files with right of fle(0755), but I cannot and no way to change rights. Any suggestion?Solved3KViews0likes2Comments
