However, I was billed the next month..
Yeah I couldn't see anywhere to reduce the number of device licenses so I cancelled the entire subscription. However I was billed the next month ANYWAY! So now the app says that my subscription is cancelled (and past the expiration date) but also says that I have 3 device credits available. There's some work to do to sort this out really.8KViews0likes12CommentsWAC505/510 Wi-Fi Bridge implemented - Is Standalone only way to configure (not Insight)?
Getting a network cable to a WAC505 was going to be very difficult, so used WAC505 User manual section "Set up a WiFi Bridge Between Access Points" to configure a WAC510 as a base station and the WAC505 as a repeater. In the Insight portal, had to change from Insight managed to Local to see the settings to get this done. Now in Insight, see "Standalone mode" in Status for both WAC510 and WAC505. 1) Does anyone know if NETGEAR is planning to allow configuration of bridge mode using Insight (rather than standalone)? 2) If I ever want to go back to Insight managed for WAC505 and WAC510, don't see a way to change from Local to Insight managed. Is reset to factory the only way to go back to Insight managed? Thanks.7.3KViews0likes13CommentsArteris IP Takes Full Control of its Network through NETGEAR Insight - Case Study

Hello, This forum has been very helpful for a non-IT business owner like me who wears the IT hat most of the times by default. I got the complete line of insight products. Router, 24p POE smart Switch, 52p smart switch, and several wac510s. All seems to be going well after some research and playing around. But... I'm trying to establish 6 VLANS each with their own subnet. Completely independent so they cannot ping each other. I've found that I think the BR500 can only support 4 subnets. Is that correct? After the 4th one is created, the "add" box is greyed out. If that is the case, can I get a single subnet to assign IPs to multiple VLANs and keep them completely separate? I was reading that this may be an option in the routing table with ACL in the advanced settings, but I'll probably screw that up. Any way to do that in the insight platform? Also, we really need IP reservations on the insight platform vs having to log into the BR500. My simple Google wifi puck at home can do that.... Thanks in advance! Really appreciate the help. Hi all, This might sound as a very stupid question, I currently use a ORBI RBR50. Unfortunately, the ORBI doesn't have a possibility to use Insight Premium to manage my network. As I'm reading much news on VPNfilter, erroneous IoT devices, malware etc in private home networks. I believe I can manage and get better insight (no pun intended) in what's going on on my network (+/- 50 devices). I do have a couple of question before to make sure I understand the best approach here. A) I need to buy a GC110 router to enable my network for using Insight Premium B) Should I setup my Orbi router in AP as it's now in router mode. C) Can I (as I have kids) monitor websites my kids are browsing? D) Any other concerns I should take into consideration? Thank you for your advice and, Insight(s)4KViews0likes1Comment
