Genie valid password rejected during setup
When trying to set up Genie, it asks for a password; I give one and confirm it; it's rejected as "invalid" with a note saying it must contain a capital letter, a small letter, a numerical letter, and several special characters are allowed, and be between 8 and 20 characters long. I do all that, several times, in various ways, all of which are rejected as "invalid". Very perplexing. Can't get started with Genie to manage the router. Need to, because it shuts down internet after 9 pm, and now that the country's clocks changed, it's shutting down at 8 pm, an hour too early, and users, they don't like it very much! What to do? It's a NetGear NightHawk, AC1750 SMart Wifi Router, Model No. R6700. Bought in April this year (2015). I normally use a Linux, but am borrowing a PC under Windows XP, connected by ethernet to the router.Solved6.7KViews0likes2Comments
