3 Topicshow to upgrade the R7100LG - Nighthawk 4G LTE Modem Router to new firmware
Hi, Does anyone know How I can upgrade the R7100LG - Nighthawk 4G LTE Modem Router when the upgrade to the new firmware failed using the browser? What I did: I opened the control panel of my router in a browser. On top of the site it stated there was a new firmware available so I clicked that button to start the upgrade. After 25 minutes there was no response, so I rebooted the router. Now I have a flashing / blinking power led with indicate I have a faulty firmware. I can ping my router but I am unable to open the control panel using a browser. actions taken: I downloaded both the new 1.0.0.30 and the previouw version 1.0.0.28 to install the firmware manually according this website: Reinstall the firmware on a router without the setup CD recovery tool . I can set the times it wil retry at a 20 times but it all failed stating: Unable to get response from the server. retry (20/20)... question: Does anyone know if here is any other way to upgrade the firmware other than the two methodes mentioned above? nice to know: the router was purchaged on jan. 9. 2017. so I am just out of the complementary support (90 days....)Solved3.8KViews0likes5CommentsManual for unlocked Telstra AC790s Advanced?
I recently purchased an unlocked Telstra AC790s (Advanced) from an online retailer (not the Advanced 2). The package did not come with a manual. The AC790s Advanced 2 manual is available online but it is a different device and many of the features are very different. I have the device working with my own sim, etc., but it would be easier to work out all of the features if I had a guide. Does anyone know where I could locate a manual for this model?migrating from a Pro6 (OS4) to a 516 (OS6)
Hi, I have a problem, I have a client with a venerable ReadyNAS Pro6 in situ and wants it replaced. I went with a ReadyNAS 516 hoping the migration between the two would be realitively simple (hey ! both readyNAS and surely clients are expected to migrate to newer models - right ?) The system has many shares configured (around 45) The system has many users configured (around 40) The system groups users into 6 groups Authentication is by username and password so .... we buy a 516, do a confguration export from the Pro6 (running OS4) and attempt to import it into the 516 (running OS6) it doesn't like this - basically loses most accounts !!!! trying to restore the share structure is even worse ! Is there a way to migrate share structures, permissions/settings and user/group data between OS4 and OS6 without having to burn a large amount of time manually re-entering everything ? Thanks in Advance, Mark3.9KViews0likes16Comments
