WAC510 cannot login after changing the default password for user admin
I tried twice now. 1. open the web interface (using LAN) 2. do the mandatory initial device setup 3. changed the default password for the user "admin" 4. click on "apply" - device redirects me to the login page 5. try to login. Login not possible with user "admin" and the new password (message: "Login invalid") 6. reset the device to factory defaults 7. goto 1. My new password contains characters (lowercase, uppercase), numbers and the "@" char. Length of the new password: 14 characters. Hi, I set up the new Netgear N300 wifi range extender model WN3000RP. I did this primarily to provide better signal for my guests who stay in a room away from the main router. I can connect to the extender using my router password. But I need to provide a different password to my guests. I searched the community, Google and the manual. All the answers keep talking about changing password on http://myWiFiext.net but that's not the extender password. Can anyone help? Thanks.Solved8.6KViews0likes5Comments
