I bought a ProsSafe JGS524PE ethernet switch just over 1 year ago to help support some POE cameras. THe other day I got online to check my cameras and noticed that all of my POE cameras were offline. After doing some investigation, it looks like all of my POE ports are not powering up any POE devices. I even grabbed an unused camera to plug in as a test and it would not power up. However, if I connect the same camera using a power cable to the same POE port on the switch everything comes up just fine. Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do to determine what is wrong?Solved8.4KViews0likes10CommentsCan't access JGS524Ev2 via ProSafe Pluis Configuration Utility
Replaced my GS108 with a JGS524Ev2 24-port switch. Everything is working with just plug-and-play. I've installed the ProSafe Utility on two different Windows 10 machines. On both I can see the switch and the switch will be highlighted, but the radio button not selected. I receive an error about the switch and manager IP not being on the same subnet. Everything was booted fresh from modem, to router and then to switch. DHCP is assigned to my Eero router, not the switch. I'm somewhat of a novice to networking, but fairly decent about following instructions. I've read of other people having similar problems, but no good solutions.Solved6.7KViews0likes3CommentsCopy configuration from ProSafe GS748Tv5 to ProSafe GS752TP
Hi I am running a ProSafe GS748Tv5 (firmware 6.3.1.4) and was wondering if there's a way to copy the config over to a ProSafe GS752TP (firmware 6.0.1.16). I can copy/restore the config from the GS752TP back over to the GS752TP, however was wondering if it's possible to copy between the two? The error I get when copying the GS748Tv5 "config" file over to the GS752TP is: "Copy: Missing or wrong configuration file header" Any ideas? Thank You!Solved3.9KViews0likes3Comments
