There appears to be a MAJOR BUG with OFDMA on 5GHZ on the R6700. It randomly refuses connections or blocks devices that have been explicitly allowed or blocks internet access to connected devices, and requires that the router be POWER CYCLED to get connectivity back. The 2.4GHZ does not have this issue.Unknown Device on My Network
I got a USED Netgear AX1800 Wifi Router From Amazon and I noticed 2 unknown devices on my network, is this be just a memory or history of the devices used from the previous owner? Can the previous owner somehow hack my router, compromising my devices that i use on my Network?? I did block those 2 devices but they still show up on the list of Devices Online in the app. Also how can i enhance my router security ? I feel unsafe after seeing these unknown devices on my network and will be getting a new Router insteadA question...
Greetings. I have purchased two Netgear routers of model R6700AX about 4 years ago now and have them installed in two different cities. The products were registered at the time under two different email accounts. I want to have them both registered under the same account. Taking into account the time elapsed and/or that the two serial numbers are already registered, is it possible to do it, for example, by deregistering a serial number from one of the email accounts and registering it in the other?
