I've had my Orbi setup for years with little to no problems. However, for the past 2 weeks, my Google Pixel 9 Pro phone has behaved like it's on a dial-up modem connection when on my home wifi. It's fine with five other Wifi networks I use regularly, and its good with just the regular T-Mobile data connection. But it's definitely not happy with the Orbi Wifi. The last change to the Pixel was April 5th (system update) which was over a month ago, and it was fine for 2 weeks after. I've even done the Pixel 'reset network and Bluetooth settings' option to wipe the config from the phone and start fresh. On the Orbi, I've twiddled some of the advanced Wifi settings in the config but it's not changed anything. Has anyone else run into this? Any thoughts or suggestions? Other phones (iPhone, OnePlus) seem fine on the network.Orbi satellite losing connection every few hours - Magenta circle
Every few hours, for no apparent reason, my Orbi satelite gets the magenta LED, i lose connection for a few mins and then it reconnects as if nothing happened. I live in a relatively small 74 sqm appartment and the satelite is less than 5m away from the main Orbi router with only one wall in between them. I've tried everything, including factory resetting both the main router and the satelite. Both are running the latest firmware. I'm really hoping there is something i missed because i ordered my Orbi when i was in Switzerland a few months ago, and now i've had to move to Serbia for work for a year, so returning it (unless i can get it fixed with a local distributor) would probably cost more than buying a new satelite.
