Very Frustrated with Speed of New Modem
Comcast recently had an update to their internet speed. With my old modem, the computer attached via ethernet was 125 mbps; the problem was my wifi computer was less than 10. So I bought this router/ modem to increase the speed for my wifi in particular. I"m VERY frustrated because now my eithernet speed is 4.6 download and the wifi is equally poor. I've spoken w/ Comcast and netgear with them making adjustments to my modem. Still very, very slow. I'm about ready to return this, but thought I'd check for ideas here first.Nighthawk 1900 router cm1000 modem Slow wireless fast wired.
230mbps wired on pc (2.4ghz) 45mbps wireless (both 2.4ghz/5ghz) Isp: Comcast, blast pro tier up to 200mbps Tried all the basic techniques to increase wifi speed such as channel changing, Google dns, multiple talks with xfinity/netgear-support/technicians, router placement, Antenna adjusting, simple rebooting, etc... overall my plan,router,modem are all monsters but not performing like a monster
