1.11.0.20 Firmware Problems w/ Satellites
Both of my satellites along with the master router received the 1.11.0.20 update yesterday.
Upon restart of all 3, the satellites and all clients attached to them no longer show connected in the Atttached Devices screen on the master router. The Firware update screen also does not reflect the satelites, however, clients connected to the satelites are connected to the WAN/LAN.
The guest network no longer shows present on the satellites after the firmware upgrade.
I have factory reset the router and satelites twice.

what about when you log into the satellites what are they showing in the attached device.

Just as an update, I manually loaded the firmware on the satelite that wasn't hung showing Attached Devices.
After re-flashing, it now behaves like the other satelite and shows devices not connected to that satelite or the router.
Both satelites are still not shown on the Router in Connected Devices or in the firmware upgrade page. Thank you.
I have the same problem with my satellite after the upgrade. I have reset the satellite to factory default twice. I know the satellite is online since I can print to the printer that connected via network cable to the satellite. However I did not see the satellite on the console.
Does the current Beta address this issue?

Try to see my post, same situation. Sat keeo rotating dots. Have u try to click speedtest?

Again, hope I do not insult your intelligence but have you tried to connect the Satellites using the full administrator UI in the Router? I was having a problem with my one satellite connecting and ended up starting over using the Router Admin and not the App or other. Worth a try....

I have an RBK53 running fw 1.4, I haven't added the second satellite in yet. I assume I should hold off on the upgrade?
These have been a total dumpster fire to setup. The number of non-responses and hard reboots required should be embarassing to the company, designers, and QA. Did they even test this? The level headed say "of course", but there is no answer to the quantity of issues and failed basci steps (like IP and SSID changes) requiring hard reboot.
- A better solution is to return it for a refund, which I'm about 2 more uncalled-for reboots away from doing.

The strange thing is that I am having the opposite experience from TXGun.... I had nothing but problems until 1.11.0.20. Now it is working perfectly and while I hope it stays that way, I will be sending it back if it acts up again this week. If it makes it through the week I will let it ride. Damn shame with all these problems bc when the system works like it should it is outstanding.
Wow. From everything stated so far it sure looks like the new Firmware fixed the issues with the RBK40 and screwed up a bunch of things on the 50. I haven't seen anyone post about this issue happening on the RBK40. Maybe it is on another thread. Good luck y'all. I definitely know the frustration. I am repeating the link to the release notes for 1.11.0.20 if anyone is interested. It only talks about the RBK40 bugs fixes.

how i would get a copy of this version. 1.12.0.18 ?
I am using it version. 1.12.0.16My router updated last night automatically to the newest firmware version 1.12.0.18 but my satellite still doesnt show. Is there a way that I can manually update the firmware on the satellite? I have tried everything on the Netgear support page, but I cant uptdate the satellite since it isnt showing up on attached to my router. Thank you
Thank you. Just did a factory reset on both units, synced them and then I was able to manually update the satellite to the latest firmware. Thanks again!
