All kinds of troubles after latest firmware update

First my internet dogged. After a week with Spectrum and a service tech visit, they proved to me that the issue is mine. I’ve reset and reset and re-installed to no avail. One of my satellites has some wired devices attached: a desktop PC and a HD HomeRun TV device. This satellite initially boots up and syncs at a 5g rate. Then it somehow switches to a “wired” connection when I check it thru the app. If I unplug the devices from the satellite’s ports, reboot and it comes back up with a 5g connection back to the router and all works fine. So I can’t use a wired Ethernet to my PC nor my TV device now. Also, when I look at connected devices to the satellites, I can’t believe it anymore - it shows my solar system inverter connected to the satellite at the completely opposite end of the house, some 80-90 feet away, when there is a satellite no more than 20 feet from it at the same end of the house. Also, when I factory reset the router, it showed that it found two satellites that weren’t even plugged in! WTF??? I’m getting ready to smash all three units with a hammer and go buy something else. This was a very expensive WiFi system to buy only 24 months ago. Is anyone else having recent issues since this latest firmware release? This system worked fine until then. Thanks for any guidance before I smash it to bits and never buy netgear again.

Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update?
Press the back reset button for 15 seconds then release.

Be sure all RBS and RBR are loaded with same version of FW.

What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Is the Orbi system operating in Router or AP mode?
What is the Mfr and model# of the ethernet switch in the configuration?

What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected. https://kb.netgear.com/000036466/How-far-should-I-place-my-Orbi-satellite-from-my-Orbi-router

What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?

Try enabling Beamforming and MIMO(MIMO may or maynot be needed) and WMM. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings

Try disabling the following and see:
Armor, Circle, Daisy Chain, Fast Roaming, IPv6 and Set 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only. Set Short preamble instead of Long preamble modes. Save settings and reboot the router and satellite(s).

Wow! Thanks for the quick reply and lots of additional things to check. I will pick up my efforts again this weekend and post the results here. I did do a full factory reset and verify latest/consistent firmware across the three devices, but I’ll need to check one by one all the options/settings you’ve suggested. Thank you!
