Cannot connect RBS10 with LBR20

Hi everyone,

I've got an issue with my recently purchased RBS10 satellite. I can't make it to synchronize/connect with my LBR20 router.

I bought it after confirmation from the below post, that those two are compatible:
https://community.netgear.com/t5/Orbi-4G-LTE-5G/Compatible-satellites-for-LBR20/td-p/2136298

The satellite led light acts as follows:

- after plugging it into the power it is green

- after a few seconds it changes to solid white

- after about 2 minutes it starts to flash white

- it flashes for about 2 minutes and then changes back to solid white.

I tried connecting it according to the user manual. After pressing the Sync button on the back of the satellite the led light starts to flash white.

Unfortunately, it doesn't connect even when it's right next to the router.

Did someone had the same problem or knows how to resolve it?

Thanks in advance.

My understanding was the rbs10 was only compatible with the rbr10 because it was a dual band system. The LBR20 is a triband

Maybe someone else has tried this though and knows more.

    Hi gotowiec27,

    Welcome to the NETGEAR community!!

The RBS10 is compatible with the LBR20.

Please ensure that your LBR20 is running firmware v2.6.5.32.

    Best,

      Hi KevinLiT ,
My LBR20 is running the latest software (V2.6.5.32).
Still, I can't connect it. Additionally, I don't see the wifi network from the satellite.
I`ve tried to reset it using the button on the back, but without success. Same for the QR code from the label. My smartphone asks me if I want to connect to "ORBI53" and then it says, that either it cannot connect or cannot find it.
