Cannot Get GoGoGate2 To Work With Orbi Mesh (RBK53S)
Just swapped out an Apple router with the Orbi mesh system. My GoGoGate2, which controls my garage doors through an app, doesn't work after setting up the Orbi system?! I see it among my list of connected devices (via 2.4G) but the app can no longer find the GoGoGate2 device. Seems very strange, this should be pretty straightforward. Anyone get this to work?

Hi, I finally got my working. Here are all the things I did (not sure which step did the trick?).
1) Logged in the orbi router Advanced -> Setup -> LAN Setup
Added a reserved address for the GoGoGate2
2) Delete GoGoGate2 device from phone app.
3) Reset GoGoGate2 (button on the face of the device) ...
When setting up WiFi...
- CONFIGURATION MODE: Choose MANUAL.
- ENCRYPTION MODE: Choose the type of encryption used by your Wi-Fi network. To check encryption, please check on the link.
- AUTOMATIC OR STATIC IP: Choose STATIC IP.
- SSID: Set to the name of your Wi-Fi network, where you want to connect Gogogate2.
- WI-FI PASSWORD: Input your Wi-Fi network password.
- IP: Set to the reserved IP in Step 1
- NETMASK: Introduce here the subnet mask (by default 255.255.255.0).
- PRIMARY DNS: Introduce here your router’s IP address (192.168.1.1).
- SECONDARY DNS: Introduce here again your router’s IP address (192.168.1.1).
- GATEWAY: Introduce here again your router’s IP address (192.168.1.1).
4) Finally once you've configured the GoGoGate2, ensure that in device config settings 'Remote Access' is enabled.
These steps worked for me in accessing GoGoGate2 via the Orbi mesh LAN as well as remotely.
G'Luck.

When you changed routers, did you set the Orbi WiFi network to the exact same name (SSID) and password as the previous (Apple) router?
- Yes the SSID was identical, all my other devices worked without having to reconnect to WiFi.
-Sri.What modem are you using? if you're using a combo device, you're apple might have been in ap mode and you didn't change it with the orbi?
