Cannot Update Firmware
Giving me such trouble:
- iPhone Orbi App keeps giving "Firmware Check Error" and I can't get past that.
- Tried orbilogin.net... The RBR50 and RBS50 say "Update Failed" when I attempt to update. My current version on both is V2.1.4.16_1.0.0.11. For RBW30, it says that there are no new versions (I currently have v2.6.1.6)
- Manual Update Attempt for RBS50... both versions 2.7.2.102 and 2.6.1.40 give same error when I try to manually update: - "This firmware file is incorrect! Please get the firmware file again and make sure it is the correct firmware for this product."
- Manual Update Attempt for RBR50... This device doesn't show on the 'manual update' screen and therefore I cannot update (see attached pic).
I'm unsure what other steps I need to take... I'd appreciate any help. Thx

Why are you trying to update?
- Why would my reason for wanting to update firmware be relevant? Fact: I have older firmware and I cannot update to newer versions that should readily be available.

Is this a "special" Orbi sold by Verizon? I notice the tail end of the Verizon logo in your screenshot.
I have read that the firmware updates of Verizon's Orbi's need to come from Verizon. The files at Netgear Download sites won't install on those units.
BTW, this is how my Orbi's web interface looks. The Router does not show up in the list. Thats normal.
You need to Manually downloaded v212 and applying Manually to the RBR using the RBRs web page:

After v212 is apply follow the notes about applying 2.3.0.32
Or I believe you can go directly to v102 on the RBR.

And if your RBR has a verizon branded FW, you'll need to contact Verizon about there FW as Verizon develops there own FW for Obri HW based used sold by Verizon.
I wanna say that someone was able to load stock NG FW on Verizon branded Orbis using TFTP maybe?

FURRYe38 , thanks so much.... I tried v.2.2.1.212 as you stated but it didn't take that either. Yes, it's a Verizon branded device so now I'm searching Verizon for the updates. I found a few other people in verizon community boards who were looking to update theirs, but no direct answers that I've found ye. In case needed, what is TFTP?
