Code 404 and no internet signal with Orbi RBK 50

Hello there,

I just got a netgear orbi RBK50 but I am having some issues:

1. When trying to connect to some sites it does not work and gives me a 404 error. I tried to connect with the wifi emitted by the modem and the site works.

2.On my mobile phone it says that the wifi does not have internet but I am able to use it with most common tasks. Some things do not work such as the google play store (downloading)

3.I believe that it is connected to the first two but I am also having issues with connecting to some apps on my laptop so i am unable to login.

if you might know an answer I'd ne happy to hear it.

Thanks.

  • What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the ISP modem the NG router is connected too?

Power OFF the ISP modem and RBR for 30 seconds then back on.

Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update? YOu might do this and walk thru the setup wizard with a web browser connected to the RBRs web page at orbilogin.com

I'm a bit lost with what you said but you want me to reboot my router and go through the setup once again?
