Cox Cable Compatibility

I am looking to upgrade the router-modem for my Cox Cable "Ultimate" service.  Cox doesn't list the Orbi AC3000 as compatible with their service.  I think that's because it's too new.  Please offer advice.

    Reason why the RBK is not on there list or any list is that the RBK doesn't include a cable modem. It's just a router and wifi system. 

     

    Check there list again for what they support in "Cable Modem". NG has CM 1000, 1100 and 1200 modems that are just modesm only and will work with your RBK Orbi system.

    I have cox and I recommend NOT using a router-modem combo.   I can't make out what you have now.    

    my cox system is  modem to orbi plus 2 sats.   That's it.   

    cox is one of the few isps that don't require you use their gear.   The orbi is not new.  

    keep it simple.
