Be sure the TV is set to be sharing any kind of app information to the ipad first off. Check with the TVs mfr for help and information on if there is any kind of configurations needed on the TV so that devices can see the TV. Orbi doesnt' block any LAN side connections by default.
Do you have any Armor or Circle features enabled on the RBR?

Hi FURRYe38,
I have no Armor or Circle features enabled on the RBR. The TV is a Samsung TV and the Router is set to DHCP. There is no fix IP address on the TV.
I would make sure that the TV has any kind of sharing features enabled if needed. Contact the TVs mfr support site for help and information regarding on how to get the TV and mobile apps connected. There should be nothing on Orbi that would be blocking anything since the LAN and WLAN are all on the same side of the network.

Just to clarify, the TV and the iPad are both connected to the Orbi. There is no other "LAN" equipment in the mix?
Are there other LAN connected devices that the iPad can connect to (perhaps a printer, desktop, or laptop)?
What is the IP address assigned to the TV? To the iPad?

Hi CrimpOn,
The TV is connected via LAN to the Router and the Ipad is connected via WIFI. There are no other LAN connected devices that the iPad can connect to.
The Router is set to DHCP
The TV is assigned IP address 192.168.1.13 on LAN and the Ipad is assigned 192.168.1.23 on WIFI

I am a little slow sometimes:
- There are no other devices connected to the Orbi LAN, or
- There are other devices, and the iPad also cannot connect to them
I do not have a Samsung TV, so it is not clear to me what the purpose is of connecting an iPad to the TV. Is there a special "app"?
