email failed sending log RBK50
Orbi RBR50 Firmware V2.7.2.104 Win 10 Pro
using

| Outgoing Mail Server Port Number: |
| My mail server requires authentication (checked) |
I get this:
[email failed] ssmtp: Authorization failed (535 5.7.3 Authentication unsuccessful [BY5PR1, Wednesday, February 24, 2021 11:32:31
[email sent to: gs*****@hotmail.com] Wednesday, February 24, 2021 11:32:31
I'm sure I've entered the id & password correctly. Any suggestions? Any way to log what is actually being sent?

The mail server is smtp-mail.outlook.com and port number 587, correct?
I really wish more programmers would provide an option to see the actual password entered, rather than those stupid dots.
I frequently make typing mistakes with my long passwords and cannot verify them visually.
In the "old days", SMTP used port 25 and everything was sent as plain text. Capture the packets and learn all about it.
With today's SSL, everything is encrypted.

I actually set up a (free) GMail account specifically to send Orbi logs. Have never had a Hotmail account.
