IP address changed

When I use an IP address finder like IP Chicken it show's my ip address and location is different than what my router and laptop show as my ip address.  I found this out after trying to sign up for Hulu and they kept giving me the wrong channels due to my ip address and location.  I called my provider, spectrum, to ask about it and they said its my modem issue and I need to change location via modem.  They would not help due to it's my own equipment.  Which I had to get because they couldn't get their equipment to communicate correctly wiht my Orbi.  So any ideas how I can address this issue?  My routher and laptop show the correct ip address and location.

Which IP addresses are we talking about here?

IP Chicken shows your WAN IP address.

Where are you looking on your router?

The router will also show your local IP address.

    What is that router?

The CM500 in your footer is a modem. No router involved.

Sounds like the usual ISP response. "We don't have a clue, so let's blame the modem."

Maybe the place to look is on this unnamed router.

You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:

My router is an Orbi.  Another example is when I was just trying to secure discount tickets via my AAA membership online.  Their website asked permission to use my locaiton and sure enough I took me to Kentucky again and showed all the local businesses in Kentucky area and I am in Columbus, Ohio.  How do I fix what my location IP address is showing as my geographic location?  This also was an issue signing up with Hulu recently.  I appreciate any assistance.

What model Orbi do you have?

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
