Is it possible to use 2 RBR50s, connecting 2 RBS50s to each and still maintain a single mesh network
Hoping to use Orbi to set up wifi on a church campus. The buildings are in a u shape around an open courtyard. Rough outside dimensions of the U are 400 ft x 200 ft.
I know from our existing set up that one RBR50 can't be placed to support multiple RBS50 units without daisy chaining the RBS50s. That's the bad news
The good news is, we have Ethernet in place which would allow us to place two RBR50s so that each of them could be the base for their own pair of RBS50s.
- Ethernet to RBR50 #1 as default base for RBS50s #1 and #2
- Ethernet to RBR50 #2 as default base for RBS50s #3 and #4
My questions
- can this hardware set up be configured as a single mesh; one SSID and password? And with seamless movement about campus?
- are there likely to be any issues if any of the signal radii overlap?

If you are using 2 RBR50s then there would be 2 SSID and it wouldn't be seamless moving around. And you shouldn't have much issue on the overlap if they are on different channels.
