Netgear Orbi Voice RBS40V I can't Set up with a router that is not an Orbi
My Netgear Orbi Voice RBS40V cannot be configured as an Extender following the guide to configure my Orbi voice as an extender when I don't have an Orbi router: https://www.downloads.netgear.com/f...
First many thanks for your assistance and good news! I found the solution of how you set up in extender mode the RBS40V (without -200 model or Ver. 1), the solution is in this link:

the trick is the Sync button and the SSID show the EXTENDER_EXT, so now my RBS40V is working with another router.

Seems like you need to get extender mode FW loaded on the RBS40v to get into extender mode. Seems like it's in Orbi mode:
Hi, First thanks for your answer, well I follow your link and I have tried to manually load the firmware ext mode but it fails, it does not allow it to be loaded, could it be because my model is not RBS40V-200 is only RBS40V ?
Is there a way to force it to be in Ext mode?
