Netgear Orbi Voice RBS40V I can't Set up with a router that is not an Orbi

First many thanks for your assistance and good news! I found the solution of how you set up in extender mode the RBS40V (without -200 model or Ver. 1), the solution is in this link:

the trick is the Sync button and the SSID show the EXTENDER_EXT, so now my RBS40V is working with another router.

You did this, and it worked?

 

Would have been a lot easier if this had been mentioned in the Product Data Sheet, Installation Guide, or the User Manual.

    hi, 

     

    If it works wonderfully, I was already disappointed by the simple fact of wasting a great product, but when I did one last search on Google,voilà ! the answer!!, and exactly what you say, why the user´s manual does not contemplate that and you end up finding it in a KB, well today something new to learn, let's share wisdom 😉
