Netgear Pro support plans
I have a Netgear Orbi Mesh WifFi system (RBR0 Router + 2 RBW30 Satellites) with which I have been having connectivity issues for the past month and been unable to get any traction from Netgear support. I was thinking about a premium support plan, Netgear offers a couple of different plans for home users. The more affordable plan is the ProSupport plan (https://prosupport.netgear.com/home/), however that doesn't support the RBR40 (https://kb.netgear.com/000055591/Which-products-are-covered-by-NETGEAR-ProSupport-for-Home) even though it does support other Orbi systems such as the RBS40. Anyone know why this is? Netgear also offers the GearHead support plan (https://gearhead.netgear.com/) but that's pretty expensive. I don't want support for all devices in my house, just the Netgear WiFi system. Shahab

you may be better off (and save some money) if you just post your clear and concise questions here

Hi Jim,
I already have a separate post on the issues I'm facing with my Orbi system, basically wifi connection drops every day, occasionally multiple times a day, have received some good workaround suggestions but not an overall resolution to my problem.

Caveat: I have not purchased a support plan from Netgear. (I am too cheap.) I believe your aprehension is unfounded. The list of supported products clearly includes the RBK33, which includes exactly the products you mention, i.e. one RBR40 and two RBW30 wall units: https://www.netgear.com/images/datasheet/orbi/RBK33.pdf My guess is that whoever compiled the list simply "missed" the RBR40.
As for the merits of the different support plans, "I got nothin."

I tried to purchase the plan by putting in the serial # of both the router and the satellite but got a message that the products weren't supported when I clicked on purchase. Unfortunately this was a measure of last resort, my experience with their "regular" support has been horrible, my case has been open for almost a month now and I haven't found a way to talk to the 2nd level support directly. I don't know what's causing the constant connection drops, I can't find anything in the standard logs and have also run packet captures from the Debug page and gone through the logs generated that way and haven't found anything.

did your system ever work properly?
if it did, what changed?
