New problem: “Connection is not private”

Question

New issue has arisen with the latest firmware. I can’t connect via WiFi to any websites (including orbilogin) as it either brings up a message saying the “Connection is not private”, or a dialog box asking for a username and password, but which does not respond to my orbi username and password.

Any ideas?

Did you enable parental controls? This looks like a traffic inspection&nbsp; of some kind, which I was not aware the Orbi could/would do.

Have you checked the AP's BSSID, when you encounter this issue - is this really your AP?

Thanks for this suggestion but I think it really is.I’m using the Orbi in router mode and I wonder if that could be contributing in some way?

Then examine the SSL certificate and see who did sign it. It your Orbi signed it, when it really would be performing some traffic inspection.
