No internet connection with C6220
Hi all,
My ISP (COX) found they can send a signal to my modem, I can reset my modem from COX app, I can connect to my wifi but it just doesn't work, always no internet connection. Anyone has idea why?
Problem solved. It turns out nothing wrong with my modem and router, maybe cox didn't register my modem in a right way. I called them to reset my modem on their end then problem solved.

Do you happen to have a computer or laptop that can be connected directly to the C6220 with an ethernet cable?
I guess you have looked at the installation guide and everything appears to be working?

yeah I wish I have a computer with ethernet to figure it out...
online LED lights solid but 2.4Hz one blinks. So I wonder maybe the modem part works well but wifi part doesn't.
It's not only compatible with COX, but it is also 'certified' (whatever that means):
According to the installation guide, when the 2.4G and 5G lights blink, that means there is activity:

When you use a smartphone or tablet, does the WiFi name that is printed on the product label appear as a choice?
If you can connect, open a web browser and enter http://192.168.0.1 which should bring up the configuration screen on the router.
I would use a tablet because I find smartphone screens too small to use with web pages.
Do you have a screen snip of the cable connections page (shows upstream/downstream connections) and the event logs from the modem?

For your future needs, Netgear has set up a community forum specifically for the Cable Modem products. Most of the people who watch that forum are more likely to have experience with Cable modems and know how to work it better than those of us who follow this router forum. Might be more likely to find someone who has a solution if the question is posted there:
