Orbi CBR40 connecting to AT&T 210 router need help
Hello Everyone,
I recently switched from Xfinity to AT&T fiber.: 300 Mbps. I had my CBR40 with Xfinity earlier which was connected thru the coaxial cable and worked fine. Now AT&T they have setup a 210 modem. I tried plugging in my CBR40 using a LAN cable. However, I am not getting any wifi from orbi. What's the proper way I can connect? I need orbi because I am using another satellite in a different room to connect my pc and printer.

The CBR requires a cable ISP Coax line to connect to operate in it's intended design. as the Orbi gets it's internet access from the Coax line.
You can give this a try and use the CBR40 in a faux AP mode configuration:
Would need to get on the CBRs web page and set up a IP address, 192.168.#.40 and the # being what the ATT host router is using on the LAN side. Use a wired PC to connect to the CBRs web page. The CBR will not be connected to any coax cable. Once you set the IP address for the CBR, disable the DHCP service under same location, Advanced tab/LAN Setup. There is a check box for this. Uncheck this box and select Apply. The CBR will reboot here.
While the CBR is rebooting, connect an empty LAN port in back of the CBR with a LAN cable to the ATT host router open LAN port in back of this unit.
The CBR should come to ready and begin to pass thru internet traffic on it's LAN ports and over WiFi.
Only thing about this, the top ring LED will always be on PINK and the front modems downlink LED will always blink. You can help the front LED with a post-it note to cover this LED. There's nothing we can do with the top ring LED. That will always be ON Pink while in this configuration.The RBS if you have one should connect I believe to the CBR and also sync up.
You can make changes to the CBR by using the 192.168.#.40 address in a web browser.
