Orbi connection base to satellite

Hi everyone and sorry for my possible stupid question.

I actually connect the router and the satellite with ethernet but the location of the satellite is not really the best choice. (orange light often appeare).

I can easily change the location but in this case it will be not possible to have an ethernet cable so that I will leave router and satellite just link eachother via wifi.

Does this choice will have any impact relating to performances?

Thanks and have a nice day,

regards,

Davide

    orange?

The only colors I've seen have been white, blue, or magenta (purple).

Using an ethernet cable should over ride any color display or at least the magenta (connection poor)

      Ok sorry.

I would like to say Magenta; anyway the one for the poor connection.

The question is: IF I connect the base to the satellite with an ethernet, I will have better performances from the satellite than having only the wifi connection?

      Thanks,

Ethernet is always better (in most cases) than wifi.
