No joy with the fresh copy of RBS50 v2.1.1.16 firmware. Now how hard can this be?

I suppose my other option is to connect to the 'net and try to upgrade the firmware OTA.
- mastervisa30Dec 24, 2017LuminaryWhy netgear cant we get that options to turn off and on auto uppdate, its gonna be easy to downgrade to older firmware in the future, when there is a new firmware who has many bugs,we can turn off uppdate and get older version?options to turn off auto uppdate,if netgear get this options im not sending my system back:)if there is buggy firmware version we can turn of uppdates

Connecting to the internet, the new firmware update is shown as v2.0.0.74. And one of the satellites says no internet.
Did Netgear pull 2.1.1.12 and 2.1.1.16? I don't think so because I got fresh copies of 2.1.1.16 a short while ago. So why would the Orbi system not pick up the latest firmware updates? I'm connected to the satellites wirelessly at the present time.

Answering my own question here. I had to update to v2.0.0.74 before I could update to v2.1.1.16. I'm surprised I couldn't update from 1.12.1.18 directly to 2.1.1.16. Oh well.
All satellites are showing after I refreshed the info above where I said 1 satellite was showing no internet connection.
