Orbi firmware v2.1.1.16 discussion

do we need to do nvram wipe for this 2.1.1.16 Firmware just released today? noticed it downloaded automatically.

That is a known issue and, ostensibly, is scheduled to be fixed in the next firmware release.

I thought that was an issue with the last firmware for some? Wonder how many months we will have to wait for yet another firmware update. I was excited about Circle but now I am considering downgrading until they get this resolved.

Did I miss something? What is Circle and where can I get some more information about it?

  Login to your Orbi and look under Basic/Parent Controls. It's the first option. The "learn more" will take you to a Netgear website.

Yes, I believe it was an issue but, apparently, it is still an outstanding issue with the latest firmware version. There wasn't much of a time delay between 2.1.1.12 and 2.1.1.16 so, hopefully, they can resolve this just as expeditiously.
