Range would be only that of how long your wired cable length is between the RBR and RBS.

To clarify, the range of clients to the satellite or router.
The antennas seem bigger, thus I would expect a longer range.
Usually 30 feet is a starting point between the RBR and RBS when wirelessly connected. This sets a good wifi signal over lap between them. Some have have them well beyond this as well. Say 60 feet. However this is between the RBR and RBS.
Different devices have different radios and receivers. Depending upon how well they are designed, will dectate on how well they can receive and connect.

The new RBK12 system (the "little cubes") is not capable of ethernet backhaul. The satellites have no ethernet port. https://www.netgear.com/images/datasheet/orbi/RBK12.pdf
I am not aware of any published signal strength vs. distance comparisons of the different Orbi models.
