Orbi R50 router and satellite have no internet connection
Hello, i have been using my Orbi R50 Router and satellite for over 18 months with no issue- the other night both stopped working during the night, the satellite glows purple and the router flashes intermittent on/off with a white light, i have checked with my service provider and the line and connection is working, i have reinstated my modem/ router to Wifi enable and this is working correctly again- however the use of the Orbi was for speed reasons and this is not what i want to go back to using- I have tried a reset on the devices and also removed them from the app, however as no internet connect i cannot re-add the devices, i have purchased a connecter USB-Ethernet to ensure i can connect my Mac, i have tried to manually enable a firm ware however as i am a Mac user i am struggling as most of the support pages are for Windows and even though i have managed to set up a Static IP, the instructions then revert back to windeows on the command prompt and i am not technical enough to us stand how to do these on a Mac or if this is the correct thing to do!
I would appreciate any help to resolve my issue, step by step guide I can follow as i am sure if i can get a different version of firmware onto the devices they will work again- Please can anyone help?

Did you try rebooting your ISP modem/router? You say you are using the app to configure?
So you rebooted your ISP router, then plugged in your Orbi to the router and turned it on? And you are saying when you load the app, you can't do a new install? Because since you reset the Orbi router, you have to treat it like a new install.
Are you sure you successfully achieved a factory reset. I sometimes find Orbi routers and satellites to be stubborn.

Yes i have tried several times to reset and reboot the Orbi router, i have also tried to set up as a new device through the app and it states cannot connect to Orbi59, it looks like its not picking up the internet connection from the modem, which i have tested with my Mac book direct to the modem and this connects fine

After you reset the Orbi router, did you configure it again with the app, as once reset you have to start from the beginning as it is a new RBR50?
