Orbi RBR20 keeps dropping internet
I have had my Orbi RBR20 for a year and a half now and have had no issues. Beginning this week, it keeps dropping the internet. I have done multiple restarts and a couple return to factory settings. When I do these, it works for a few hours then drops again. The main Orbi unit is up-to-date on it's firmware (v2.7.3.22), but the satellite is on a different version of firmware. Could this cause the issue? It wouldn't update automatically. I have an AT&T U-verse Gateway and have called AT&T to see if there were any issues with it, but it appears to be in working order. The internet from the gateway is not dropping. I have googled how to handle this, and have tried all the suggestions, but it's not correcting the problem. I also find it interesting that my Armor Security protection that comes with the Orbi expired this week. Don't know if that's causing the issue. Can anyone offer any suggestions?

Your ISP Modem already has a built in router and wifi. This would be a double NAT (two router) condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT

Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.

RBR and RBS should be same version of FW.
