Orbi RBR50 Satellite will not connect

Question

Having trouble with a satellite for this RBR50 First of all, clients cannot connect to the satellite's wifi signal with the same password as the base.

I restarted the satellite and it lost connection to the base. I followed sync instructions but no joy. I then removed it from the orbi and tried to add it as a new satellite, but it will not sync. Help! Please.

Turn OFF all other working RBS.
Try a 30-30-30 reset on the one non working RBS. Then try to re-add it to the RBR using the RBS add satellite funtion on the RBRs web page.&nbsp;

What FW version is on the RBR and any other RBS?&nbsp;Was the system updated recently? RBS need to be updated first before the RBR is.&nbsp;

Does the RBS get an IP address from the RBR? If it does, you might be able to access it by that IP address, try admin and just password as it may not get the admin pass from the router.&nbsp;

Thanks.... weird, but after saying it failed to sync on setup, it now shows an attached device!

Any idea why the wife password on the satellite would not allow someone to connect? I don't see where to find the satellite's firmware version but here is the base:

RBR50

Firmware Version	V2.7.4.24

Thank you. &nbsp;My Orbi at home auto updates. This is at work and does not. &nbsp; &nbsp;I think mine at home updates in&nbsp;the correct manner. &nbsp;This one seems like it needs a manual update. &nbsp;Will follow instructions.&nbsp;

Some units may not receive auto updates and since the AC series of Orbi has gone into EoL, NG has problaby taken these models out of the auto update system so you'll not see any more updates. The one link is last one officially released by NG.&nbsp;
