Orbi RBR50 Satellite
Have had my Orbi unit RBR50 for at least two years. Distance between base and satellite is normally about 50 ft. Base can get 300 mbps satellite around 175 ish. Now the most the satellite can get is 48 mbps. I even tested it about 6 feet away from base and still only 48 max. Changed some of the 5G channels with no change in speed, I put it back to channel 48. Orbi admin says backhaul is good no matter where I place the satellite unit.
So I think my satellite is bad and will need replacing. Any suggestions to fix that I missed? Also what satellite will work with my base rbr50?

What firmware is on the satellite and the router?
Did you test wired speed on the satellites? that's the best way to check if the backhaul is causing the slowdown or if its the front haul.
What device are you testing with?

Please ensure that your Orbi mesh system is on the latest firmware release version 2.7.5.4 then factory reset your satellite.
The RBR50 is compatible with the following satellites:
- RBS10
- RBS20
- RBW30
- RBS40
- RBS40V
- RBS50
- RBS50Y
(Please note the devices attached to the satellite will have a slower network connection than the devices attached to the router if an older satellite is used.)
