Orbi RBR50 slowing down network traffic
My ISP just upgraded me to gigabit internet, and when I plug my PC directly into the modem, I get speeds north of 900 mbps. When I plug the Orbi in, the speed test shows 700Mbps. Updated to the latest firmware. Any traffic going through the Orbi, such as a PC run speed tests, also shows ~700. Why am I seeing such a degradation in performance? All connections are hard wired, and not going over wifi. Firmware is 2.5.2.4.

Who is your ISP and what equipment did they provide?
What device is your Orbi router connected to?
Disable Circle, Armor, Daisy Chaining, Fast Roaming, IPv6 and uncheck 20/40Mhz Coexistence.
Enable WMM, Implicit BeamForming, Mu-MIMO
Set Short preamble mode. Save settings, reboot Orbi.
If wired, what cable size was used, as wrong size can cause slow speed.- kingmojo1197Aspirant
So my ISP is Comporium, a local shop near Charlotte, NC. The actual modem I'm using is an Arris Touchstone CM8200.

Oh, also, this is all wired. I'm using Cat6 cables, and only Cat6 cables. Further, This is doing the speed test on the Orbi itself in the web console. Plugging my PC directly into the Arris gives me the correct speeds that I expect.
