Orbi RBR50 V2.6.1.40 - Missing Devices
The somewhat persistent 'missing devices issue' is now more prevalent / worse on software version 2.6.1.40.
It appears that devices connected via Ethernet (to either the router or satellites) are always shown, all wireless devices connected to the router are shown, but only a random selection of wireless devices connected to satellites are displayed.
Non-displayed devices appear to work correctly and are correctly assigned their 'reserved' IP address (if applicable).
My set up is:
- Router - Ethernet connected RBR50 running 2.6.1.40
- Satellite 1 - WiFi connected RBS50 running 2.6.1.40
- Satellite 2 - Ethernet connected RBS20 running 2.6.1.38
(Note: this is a non-USA setup)
Reboots of any Router and/or Satellite makes no difference and the issue is worse on this version of software than the prior 2.5.2.4.
Reboots of the missing devices also make no difference.
Of course this issue manifests via both the Web/Browser and iPhone app interfaces.
Surely this longstanding problem can be resolved as it is a serious detractor from what is essentially a good product.
Thank you.

You have posted your message in the section of this community given over to General WiFi Routers (Non-Nighthawk). (This is easily done, given Netgear's impenetrable community structure.)
You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers about your hardware, in the appropriate section for your device. That's probably here:

Apologies and thanks.
Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update?

No, I have not done a 'factory reset', as I assume that I will loose all the connection, secure access and reserved port settings and that take a wee while to load.
Thanks.
Something that needs to be tired. You can save off a back up of the RBRs configuration before doing the reset.
Connections will reestablish when the RBR comes to ready with the ISP service. Connections will be back when you reset up the SSID name and PW.
If not, you may need to downgrade back to what had been working.
Good Luck.
