Orbi RBR50v2 loss of internet access
Hi, this is my first post here. After resetting the Orbi router I have lost connect to my internet provider - the suggested network now comes up on my devices as ORBI33, rather than the name of my ISP - that network is now not available even when I search for it. Only some of my devices allow log in to the ORBI network.
There is no problem with my ISP, I've checked several times
This was all working very well until yesterday.
This is not my strong point, but to give a fuller picture, when I set up the system a couple of years ago I had to configure something on my laptop that made the ISP router not the main router inside the house, if that is the correct way to put it. That ISP router is wired to the ORBI router , which has two satellites working from it. Having done that, as I say, the ISP network was the one we had to connect all our devices to, now that option has disappeared.
Any advice gratefully received, thanks.

Thanks for all your help on this, it really is appreciated. I've gone back to configuring my Virgin Hub as the router and disabling the Orbi system for the time being.
The Orbi works well in AP mode. Pretty easy to set up too.
Just connect the Orbi, and only the Orbi, to a PC. (No need to be on line to do that.) Change it to AP mode and then add it to the network from the router.
You'll end up with two wifi networks. When you are happy that the Orbi meets your needs, turn off the router's wifi. With luck that is simply a case of pressing a button.
Shouldn't take more than about 10 minutes.

What mode/gateway/ONT connects you to the Internet?
Where do you see this "suggested network". Some wifi device?
Hard to decipher all that but it smells like you may be piling router in router.

Hi, thanks for your reply - without me doing anything at all the situation seems to have resolved itself after an hour or so.
I now have full internet access as before, but the ORBI network has replaced my ISP network as the preferred option on all the devices - I'm now just checking with my ISP that this is all okay

If this your ISP network is wifi, and these are wifi devices, it sounds like the two router problem I mentioned before.
Things may work now, but with that arrangement you could see problems later.
That's why I asked about your connection to the Internet.
I doubt if your ISP will be able to help on that front.
