I just successfully manually upgraded my Orbi satellite RBS50 to the newest firmware version 2.3.0.32 (from 2.2.1.210) . Unfortunately when I tried to do the same with my router I got the message:"The firmware file is incorrect. Please get the firmware file again and make sure it is correct firmware for this product".The system as a whole works fine despite different firmware versions for RBR50 and RBS50. Any idea anyone pls how to fix the issue.

There was a size limit in every Orbi firmware prior to 2.3.0.32 that is no longer adequate, so Netgear released a temporary version (212) just to remove the size limit.

I have a similiar issue but I admittedly updated the RBR50 before the satellites not knowing you need to update satellites before the primary router. Now I get the incompatible file error when trying to upgrade the RBS50 satellite and additional RBW30 Satellite. Any suggestions??? I do not see anywhere I can roll back the RBR50 to the 2.2.0.210 firmware.

Yes, the RBS needs to be updated first before the RBR. You can download the v210 FW file and attempt to install it on the RBR. If you can get that loaded on the RBR, update the RBSs directly to v32.
