orbi RBS20
I recently purchased an Orbi Sattellite RBS20 to add Wifi coverage in my house. My existing router is an RBR20.
I have tried setting up the new sattellite through the phone app and it will not join although the phone app can "see" it.
I have looked at instructions for turning off modem and restarting original RBR20 to no avail. Am I missing something? Thanks.

Did you sync the RBS to the RBR by pressing the sync button on the RBS then RBR?
Review the installation guide for additional help on getting the RBS conencted to the RBR.

It is an Arris 27BC from Windstream. It works fine with the existing Orbi router with 1 sattellite. Just can't get the new sattellite to communicate with the system. Thanks.
The FW maybe out of sync on the newer RBS.
You need to update the RBS before updating the RBR. Keep this in mind for future updates.
What you need to do is factory reset the RBS. Wire connect a PC to the 1st satellite. Already have the most current FW version files downloaded on to this PC.
Wire connect 1 PC to the back of the RBS. Factory reset the RBS, wait about 5 minutes. The PC will get a IP address from the satellite. The RBS will be 192.168.1.250. Use this IP address in a web browser to log in to the satellites web page. Log in as admin and password. Use the satellites web page FW update feature to select the FW update file that was unpacked from the .zip file. Then factory reset and then re-sync the satellites to the RBR.
